About Me
My name is Pat Dewees, husband to Meredith and Papa to our feline fur babies Sarek and Adelaide. Although we have no human children of our own, we have been active in the lives of children of others in our family. I’m a published author aspiring to write more books. My freshman book is called Pathways of the Very Young Autistic Mind. In it I share stories of what it was like growing up on the autism spectrum. Meredith, who had similar experiences as a child, also wrote some chapters of this book.
The titles I am blessed to carry (husband and author) are possible because of my faith in Jesus Christ. He has made me the overcomer from Romans 8:37 “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
My most recently published work is called It Was a Magical Place. I have been privileged to see it appear on Amazon and other book selling sites.
In my daily life I work in the accounts payable department of a retail company in Birmingham, Alabama. I also work as a tax preparer seasonally. Meredith and I live in a townhouse in Vestavia Hills, Alabama.
